Beef and Dumplings – Serves 4

  1. Place a splash of oil into a pan, add the onion, garlic and carrots.
  2. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the beef and seal until golden brown.
  3. Add herbs and stock, cover with foil and place into the oven – gas mark 4 or 180C for 2-3 hours.
  4. After 2 hours place the dumplings on top and finish in the oven.

Dumplings:

  1. Mix together the dumpling ingredients and roll into small balls.
  2. Leave to one side.
